It’s a Wonderful Life
I adore the 1946 Frank Capra classic Christmas movie - It’s a Wonderful Life. In fact, I love it so much that I’ll sit down to watch this favorite more than once a year.
You’re probably familiar with this classic. But for those who aren’t here’s a summary.
When George Bailey’s uncle misplaces $8000 from the shareholders of the family business on Christmas eve, George spins into a full-blown crisis, believing he is worth more dead than alive.
George’s guardian angel, Clarence, is sent to protect him.
Clarence gives George a glimpse of what the world would be like without him. Being a witness to his value in the community and to his loved ones breaks him out of his suicidal depression.
In the end, George realizes that “no man is a failure who has friends.”
He comes to understand that it’s the love of others that makes for a Wonderful Life.
Let’s Celebrate the Reflection of Our Love
We, as people, make for a wonderful life, and a sacrad season, by sharing our love.
When we put our attention on people rather than things (don’t worry, I’m not advocating that we shouldn’t buy gifts) our hearts soften.
Our illuminated souls soar with delight as we reach out to others with acts of kindness, compassion, friendship, understanding, love, and generosity - the essence of the season.
When we share our love, joy, hope, and goodwill, we may think we’re gifting others when we reach out to them (and we are), but the real gift is that our shared love acts much like a boomerang and returns that love right back to us.
The true celebration is in the reflection of our shared love.

Here’s a heart-opening experience I was graced with all due to my commitment to sharing love.

It’s Our Birthright - No Need to Question
We all are deserving of receiving and giving love.
To fully embrace this truth is our God-Given right.
Take a deep breath and listen to the truth of you, of all of us.
Inner Joy Compass Prompt:
Sit comfortably and take a few breaths from the depths of your belly.
Now turn your attention to your heart and with your intention breathe from your heart.
Next, as you continue to focus on your breath affirm:
I come from Love
I AM made of Love
I AM Love
You may want to breathe and affirm the Love statements a few times.
Then to continue with the sharing of the Love that you are, you simply use the above statements. With the last statement - I AM Love, you continue by stating, “I AM love pouring out Love to all the people here now.”(wherever you’re at…party, grocery store, driving, etc.)
With love pouring through you complete the following:
To accept that I AM a being of Love, I will commit to the above self-love statements _________ times per day.
To share my love more unconditionally I will use the above statements at least _____________daily.
When I share my love I feel ___________________?
Dearest, my wish for you is that you bring true celebration into your holiday season and your wonderful life with the sharing of your love.
I send you and yours blessings of love and appreciation.
Thank you for being here with me,
Gloria
