Harmony is Your Key to Going Beyond Ordinary Limits

You are being watched with the eyes of an eagle and as inconspicuously as a sparrow.

Thankfully I hear this while I’m deeply relaxed in meditation, otherwise, I’m not sure what I would have made out of it. As it were, I was already taken aback…being watched with the eyes of an eagle, really!

Feeling nakedly exposed I pull my covers higher - as if I can hide.

With the covers tightly held and my head completely covered, my 8-year-old inner child asks, what am I doing wrong?

I hear, maybe you’re doing something right.

Without thought, I begin breathing in God’s Loving Acceptance. As my inner child begins to feel God’s Accepting energy, my nervous system calms.

I then begin seeing different scenarios of myself praying, affirming, and meditating. Next, I see a Divine event that happened some years back.

Divine Love is Everywhere

I’m in a small yet elegant restaurant close to the course I’ll be teaching.

I did what I had been doing for about 2 years, I share Divine Love. I look around the restaurant and quietly declare, “I AM Divine Love filling the minds and hearts of all the individuals in this restaurant.”

Instantly the unremarkable goings-on - waiters bringing food and taking orders, people chatting and eating, even the sound of utensils being used or a chair being pushed into the table - goes from everyday ordinariness to out-of-this-world extraordinariness.

In fact, the very air itself, which I had not taken notice of before, takes on a surreal, other-worldly quality.

It’s as though I and everyone and everything in the restaurant have been enclosed in some kind of love bubble.

Friend, it’s even more than that.

I feel like I’m in a Heavenly restaurant where I, along with all the people and things in the entire restaurant, become Love itself.

I swear, if the walls were alive they too would be breathing love.

The waiter brings my food. The essence of love appears to be oozing out of him, and I can’t suppress my giggle of delight.

He tilts his head a little to one side and quizzically looks at me.

I raise my water glass in toast-fashion and giggle some more.

Obviously perplexed, as he walks away, he turns around before entering the kitchen and eyeballs me. I get the distinct impression he wants to ask me, What the heck is going on with you?! How come you’re so happy?!

With shining eyes, I scan the room slowly and methodically, I notice every nuance… the sad lady in the corner who is chewing on the inside of her lip, the couple across from me holding hands with butterflies in their bellies, the waiter whose leg is itching but she doesn’t stop to scratch it, and the arrangement of the glasses by the bar, the pouring of coffee, the clinking of utensils…

I AM all of it and all of it is ME and WE are only LOVE.

Questions travel as if they’re on a voyage of their own… Have I been asleep? Is this reality? Has this love always been here? Is this what it means to live in Heaven on Earth?

Tears flow as the words - Thank you, God, Thank YOU - pour from my grateful heart.

It’s All About Momentum

Back to my meditation.. after re-experiencing the power of Divine Love returned, I hear… With the same commitment you have with your God-Self, you are to have with your mind.

I then see some loved ones from my past. I can still feel the hurt.

I also hear judgments I’ve held toward situations and people.

Next, I hear, you are to commit to the redirecting of your thoughts with as much heartfelt commitment as you give to your I AM Presence. This is how Divine momentum is built- through the commitment to one’s Harmony. Harmony is the key.

Following, I see myself taking my daily walk and saying my blessings and the Ho’o Pono Pono prayer.

I immediately understand that I’m to use these two practices to redirect my less-than harmonious thoughts.

I also understand that with this commitment to redirecting my thoughts, my Divine momentum will pick up speed and I will experience a deeper, broader connection.

In the past, when I committed to a particular spiritual practice, it took quite some time to feel the Heavenly energy. As in the Divine Love incident I had in the restaurant. I had been sending Divine Love just about everywhere I went for about 2 years when I was Graced with the restaurant Divine Love experience.

Presently, when I begin a new spiritual practice I reap the Heavenly Grace of it much quicker than I did in the past, which then leads me into my next spiritual practice.

I soooo… get, in the deepest well of my being, that regardless of whatever progress I’ve made (compare it to my past or not) my less-than harmonious thoughts are interrupting my Divine momentum.

Oh dearheart, I can’t have that!

I won’t have that!

Redirecting Inharmonious Thoughts

No pussyfooting here, my friend, with the tenacity of a Toro bull, I AM redirecting my thoughts.

Here’s how…

When I have a grievous or harsh thought I immediately begin blessing it. For example, if I think of a person who I feel has injured me, without hesitation, I send that blessing to them, or if it’s a situation I send the blessing into it.

The Blessing:

I bless you with pure love and light, I bless you with pure Source energy, I bless you with a Holy Miracle.

If I feel more is needed I say the Ho’o Pono Pono Prayer:

I love you

I’m so sorry ‘for forgetting who I really am.’ (This addition is from a friend.)

Please forgive me

Thank you

Harmony is Your Key

Dearest, how do you feel about the idea of mastering your thoughts?

Are you willing to gently redirect them?

If so, harmony will be yours, and harmony is your key to building your Divine momentum.

Can you imagine your Divine energy, prayers, meditations, and affirmations coming back to you?

Can you imagine being delighted beyond description?

Sidenote: As I’m writing this I get the strong inclination to open up my I AM Discourse book that is beside me. I open to page 115 and I read - to project Love forth for any given purpose is the supreme privilege of the outer activity of the consciousness - which can generate Love to a boundless degree. …it is within the conscious intelligence of every individual… to create and generate this “Presence of Love” that It becomes an Invisible, Exhaustless, Peace-commanding “Presence” wherever the conscious individual desires to direct it.
