Eternal perfection is not a topic you’d bring up with a friend over a cup of coffee.
But here I am bringing it up with you.
Why? Because it’s one of the Faces of God ‘Soulful Essentials.’
So, what does that mean? Why is that important?
Well, personally speaking…
From my depths, I have this running compelling life force that acts much like a powerful magnet that cannot be overcome.
Just like a magnet pulls at shiny metal objects, my compelling life force pulls me to be, and assist others in being our True, Divine Selves.
In whatever way I’m led to go, I go, hence, the 12 Faces of God.
Believe me, it’s not all peaches-and-cream, I do have my moments of doubt, resistance, and fear, I mean, really, some of what I experience is out-there, but my compelling force pulls me along.
You see, allowing my life force to pull me in the direction my spirit is leading is part of my makeup - part of my eternal perfection.
Eternal Perfection - What It Means for Humans
We, as humans, can embody each of the Faces of God.
Therefore, we too can be eternal perfection, the 5th Face of God. Not in the same way, of course, but in our human way.
Eternal perfection is not a static state. It’s not a fixed destination, but rather, it’s a journey of self-discovery and growth.
It can’t be achieved through external accomplishments or by meeting worldly standards. It can only be found by looking inward and connecting with one's true self.
So, by aligning ourselves with Divinity (Divine principles, Faces of God), we can embody our natural state of eternal perfection.
My Meditative Experience of the Fifth Face of God: Eternal Perfection
I begin hearing random words, my questioning mind kicks in, why am I hearing a bunch of random words? I find out of course, that they aren’t random at all.
I hear cloak-of-remembrance, pious, no wavering. As I quiet my mind, I can sense that each word is related, and it has something to do with remembering.
A vision from my past appears of the Unity Church minister. He asks, “What is the difference between us and Jesus?”
The members answer in unison, “He always remembers.” (Who he really is – made of God.)
While trying to feel my way through the meaning of the words, the energy changes from an everyday feeling of ordinary, to beyond this world extraordinary. Suddenly, I’m being suffused with a benevolent and all-powerful swoosh of energy- everything is right and understood and perfect – all-embracing contentment.
I can’t help but feel the major, not-so-subtle difference between the energy of my questioning and the energy that follows.
I hear, “Feel the difference?” I respond, “Yes!”
Then I hear, “Eternal Perfection.”
I say to myself (although I’m sure I’m heard) That is what I feel!
The energy continues to expand and the more it expands the stronger I feel it. Now, how to describe perfection at a feeling level…The image of a bucolic scenery comes to mind, but the colors are unearthly vivid and the trees, flowers, landscape, birds, even the water in the pond and its inhabitants are notably alive. Everything breaths and moves with utter perfection – in a state of synchronistic harmony.
I breathe in this expansive perfection and I hear:
The Eternal Perfection of God doesn’t some days act Godly and other days forget its Godliness. From moment to moment, God is/has Eternal Perfection in all things, at all times.
Therefore, what God is, you too as humans can develop within yourselves.
YAY!
My Questions And Answers
So, what does cloak-of-remembrance, pious, and no wavering have to do with God’s Eternal Perfection?
Although I haven’t received the direct meaning of the words, I believe that the words have everything to do with God’s Eternal Perfection.
Here is what I’ve come up with…
Eternal Perfection comes from God, and of course, God is pious. In God’s Eternal Perfection, there is no wavering from God’s Godliness. And God always wears the cloak of remembrance.
Therefore, Eternal Perfection is pious, not wavering and always remembers (wears the cloak of remembrance). God’s Eternal Perfection remembers its true nature and stays in alignment with it (Is congruent in all things).
God always remembers who God is – Eternal Perfection.
Because God is Eternal Perfection, we can trust God will always remain so.
Congruency Is The Key
Back in my 30’s when I was in a course with my first mentor, she said that we were going to do an exercise with our head, heart, and hara. ‘Hara is an ancient Japanese word for stomach.’
The idea was/is to ask a question and with your intention and breath focus on one of the three areas at a time. By focusing on one area at a time you experience your answer from that perspective. Thus, you have an awareness of your alignment or misalignement.
For example, you could put your hand on your head, breathe as if you’re breathing from your head and ask your question. You then proceed to your heart, then your hara.
So what do the head, heart, and hara have to do with eternal perfection?
Because if you have all the same answers in each area of your body you’re in alignment or you’re congruent. You’re in your eternal perfection.
Take me for example. If I were to go to my head and ask the question- should I share the 12 Faces of God - if my head responds with no, my heart says yes, and then my hara says I don’t know, I’m out of alignment. I’m not congruent.
How can I proceed with so much incongruency going on within me?
How can I embody my eternal perfection?
3 C’s to the Rescue - Curiosity, Compassion, and Connection
If you were to give the above simple technique a try and find that you have a different answer in each area, or two of your answers match but one does not…
You may want to begin by bringing forth your curiosity. Follow that with compassion and end with your connection.
If you find that you’re congruent in all 3 areas, that’s wonderful. It’s a sure sign you’re embodying your eternal perfection and you’re living in alignment with your deepest values and aspirations.

Inner Joy Compass Prompt
Okay, to begin think of a question. Deep breathe
Focus on your head, breathe in that region, and ask your question
Next, focus on your heart, breathe in that region, and again ask your question.
Last, focus on your hara ‘belly’ breathe in that region and once again ask your question.
So, what happened? Are you in alignment or is there some incongruency going on?
If you have some incongruency, it’s time to bring forth the 3 C’s.
Go to the area or areas that you feel are out of alignment. Breathe deeply in and out of that area. Think of yourself as a child and curiously ask, “What do I need to bring myself into alignment?” Listen.
Next, think of something you appreciate about yourself. Breathe that appreciation deep into your being and ask, “What is the most compassionate way I can follow through with what I heard I need?” Listen and be willing to compassionately follow through.
Now, it’s time to connect. Breathe deeply and give gratitude to the Divine, and yourself for your willingness to live your eternal perfection.
Ultimately, living in eternal perfection is remembering our Divine selves and living in a way that reflects that inner peace and harmony.
