Today’s post was going to be about why my life took on a different rhythm than usual, and why I was late with my last post.
However, I keep hearing to share more from Archangel Raphael with you.
So, to summarize the reason for my late post, I’ll just say that I needed time to reorient myself back into the world due to a major storm and a power outage.
Carrying on…
A Holiday Message from Archangel Raphael
At the time I was under the charge of Archangel Raphael, he told me I would be his scribe. I had my doubts about being up for the task but that didn’t defer Archangel Raphael. I now have journals of his ancient wisdom that he shared with the three of us - myself, my husband, and our friend (who wishes to be anonymous). I believe it’s now time to begin sharing his wise words with you.
Here is what he said regarding the holiday season:
Holidays bring people together so allow yourself to be with people. Even if it means going to the mall and opening doors for those carrying packages or pumping gas for someone at a station.
Allow yourself to be of good cheer by focusing on your love.
For those of you with family and friends and plenty to do, remember the meaning behind the jingling of bells, the buying of presents, the sharing of food, and the decorating of trees.
The true meaning of Christmas is not what the ‘Many’ tend to believe. The true meaning is to look within and honor the Christ within yourself and within others.
Christ - the Anointed One, is the God-Presence within all of you. (Please if your beliefs differ, substitute Christ with the Highest Presence within you.)
By asking yourself in any situation, “What would Christ do?” you will know the most harmonious, loving, generous, kind, joyful way to proceed.
The Highest Calling is always to honor God.
Begin now this holiday season honoring God by honoring the Christ within yourself and the Christ within all.
Beautiful message…
But how, in a practical way, do we go about doing that?
How do we honor the Christ within ourselves and others and still get done what needs to get done?!
I believe it starts with Archangel Raphael’s question, “What would Christ do?” (Meaning what would the Highest, Truest aspect of you do?)
It’s time to get real about what we really want for our holiday.
Honoring My Christ
Friend, I thought I wanted to give puff pastry a try. I thought I wanted to have my Christmas buffet spread out picture-perfect with my new puff pastry recipes.
But…the longer I watched YouTube videos on how to make the recipes, the more tired I felt.
Not a good sign that I’m honoring my Christ within.
By being aware of my true feelings, I’ve not only elected to NOT try puff pastry, but I’ve decided that I’m not even troubling myself with making all those fancy little sandwiches and desserts.
Nope… not this year.
To honor my Christ, I’ve narrowed it down to charcuterie style, they can make their own sandwiches. Of course, I’ll serve them with love.
Honoring Your Christ
Dear, take a look at your to-do list for the holidays, breathe deeply and honestly assess if your plans will bring you what you truly want for your holiday season.
If something is on your list that drains you - is it really necessary?
We all want to experience the season of love and feel the magic of the season.
But the way we do this is unique for each of us.
Maybe setting a buffet with a picture-perfect spread would bring you great joy, maybe not, only you can decide that.
So, what does savoring the season mean to you?
To honor your Christ and the Christ of others, it’s imperative that you feel, to use Archangel Raphael’s words, harmonious, loving, generous, kind, and joyful.
