Hiya, it’s good to be back after my long journey.
Although I never left my home, I felt much like my brother who took the course with me. He said, I may have been sitting at home but I’ve journeyed 1000 miles.
Friend, I’ll happily weave some of what I learned from my long journey into this post.
By the way, I do hope you and yours had an enjoyable Easter. We asked friends over but they weren’t feeling well, so we postponed until this weekend.
We’ll still have our resurrection day with them, although a bit late… but hey, we can at any time choose to resurrect. (By now, you probably know I get introspective during holidays. And so…today’s post is about our personal resurrection.)
Resurrection
I understand that the biblical definition of resurrection is that Jesus Christ returned to life after death. And I have great respect for the honoring of that.
Along with that belief, I believe we each have within ourselves the capacity to bring forth our Christ Presence (Highest Self, Divine Self).
Within our sacred hearts, we have the resources to resurrect ourselves. We can awaken to our greatness, or reignite that which has been lying dormant.
Pain or Pleasure
Have you heard that we choose what we do to either avoid pain or receive pleasure?
Think about it. When we perceive that something will cause us pain we don’t want to do it. On the other hand, if we perceive something is pleasurable we’ll dive right in.
So, if the idea of deciding to resurrect brings up your fears, you’ll perceive pain.
To make sure that you can move past your perception of pain and identify your pleasure - let out your whys.
7 Levels Deep - Let Out Your WHY
There is an exercise called - The 7 Levels Deep Exercise. It’s by Dean Graziosi. ‘Author of Millionaire Success Habits.’
There are seven levels of WHY. The idea is to ask yourself seven times why what you want is important to you.
When answering, it’s important to be completely honest with yourself. The responses need to come from your heart. You need to feel them!
You may find yourself feeling stuck or unsure, don’t fret! You’re opening yourself to what’s true for you.
As you move along with your whys, you’ll find that you naturally go deeper.
I have found it helpful to get someone to ask them for me. I find that I get more real and profound. I’m more forthright.
The importance of this exercise is to find what’s stored deep within you. To get to your real whys - the whys that reside in your heart and soul.
Think of it as a path of discovery.
What then Why
First, you have to decide what you want to awaken or reignite.
What’s been lying dormant within you?
Or what do you want to awaken from (let go of) or awaken to?
What does your resurrection look like?
Once that’s decided then it’s time to let out your whys.
My Resurrection - My What
I want to let my artist out. Fully. Unabashedly. Joyfully. Regularly.
I’m ready to resurrect my artist!
I’m ready to let my artist show up and play the piano, dance, sing, decorate, write, draw, giggle, meditate, cook, or… who knows what else. I’m sure there’s much more to who I AM to awaken
And I know that it all starts with a decision.
I have to decide that I AM an artist. Period!!
Then I have to take action on my decision. No wishy-washy sidestepping.
To make sure my artist shows up and I take action, I’m letting out my whys.
My Whys
What do I want? I want to let my artist out. To resurrect that part of me that cries out for more creativity.
Why is this important to me? To feel more fully alive.
Why is this important to me? To live more joyfully.
Why else is this important to me? To feed my creative hunger.
Why is this important to me? ‘Be specific’ To wake up every morning with a smile on my face and enthusiasm in my heart. To start my day feeling like I’m one with my God-Presence.
Why is this so important to me? To express my truest nature and feel the aliveness of doing that.
Why is this urgently important to me? Because this life I’m living right now as Gloria is time-limited.
Why must this be important to me? To inspire others with my example of being all that I can be, which is in total alignment with my desire to assist others in being their God-Selves.
Your turn.
Inner Joy Compass Prompt

I’d love to hear about your whys.
May your resurrection journey open the way to your heart’s most sacred yearnings.
It’s good to be back.
Thanks so much for being here with me.
I appreciate you!

Gloria
