Hiya, I’m happy to announce that we’re getting back to the 12 Faces of God.
Are you ready for a little peace?
What do you think of when you hear the word - Peace?
Being the heart-centered person I am, I go into my heart and feel a sense of tranquillity and connection when I think of peace.
For some folks, it may mean an absence of war, for some an absence of pain in their bodies, others may think of family members getting along or an act of forgiveness, while others may think of a word such as shalom.
There are so many ways to look at peace - spiritual, psychological, physical, relational, and world peace. To name a few.
What is your personal definition of peace?
I’d love to hear it.
Let’s Take a Deeper Peace Dive
Okay, since we’re talking about peace let’s make sure to be peaceful as we’re doing it.
I can’t think of any better way to make sure we’re peaceful than to play a little.
So… Are you ready to play?
If you’ve been reading my posts for a while then you know that my definition of play veers toward being heart-centered.
With that in mind, how about we take a moment and focus on our heart region? Breathe as if you’re breathing from that area. ‘Trust me, you’ll be glad you did.’
Okay, let’s play.
Bring up the word Peace. Just let it float through your mind and in your heart as you breathe.
Now, ask yourself these questions while holding Peace in your energy:
If peace were a smell, it would smell like _____________.
If peace were a color, it would be ____________________.
If peace were a sound, it would sound like ____________.
If peace were a picture, it would look like_____________.
If peace were a day of the week, it would be ________day.
If peace were an activity, it would be _________________.
If peace were an element, it would be______ and it would _____.
Fun right?
Since we’ve all had situations where we’ve felt peaceful, let’s see if we can have even more fun with peace.
Think of a Situation When You Felt Peaceful.
Hold that situation in your mind and heart.
Now let’s play some more:
While continuing with your heart breathing, in your mind’s eye let’s experiment with your modalities: ‘senses’
Try brightening your situation with color or colors you love. Notice how you feel with your picture brighter. Okay, now try adding a sound you like, perhaps beautiful music, or a child’s laughter, again notice how you feel. How about adding some smell? Maybe the scent of your favorite oil or flower. Do you feel even more peace?
Whenever you’re playing with your modalities, always leave your picture where it feels best. So, if music makes you feel more peaceful, leave your picture with music. However, for example, if a scent makes you feel less peaceful, remove the scent.
We can always choose to enhance any situation with a little playing with our senses.
Why not play with a peaceful situation and amp up your peace?
What does peace look like in your life right now?
I’d love to hear from you.
Receiving the Seventh Face of God: Everlasting Peace
Several weeks pass after receiving the Sixth Face of God before receiving the Seventh Face of God.
It was worth the wait.
Imagine this…you wake up and find yourself happy beyond belief. This happiness is imbued with tranquillity and serenity. Everything you look at, although ordinary…side table, lamp, book, glass of water… is beautiful in a way you’ve never noticed before. As you climb out of bed you pause to marvel at the miracle of your body. And throughout your day with each personal encounter, with every touch of an object, with every thought you think, with every move you make – you are a walking, talking, doing human that is – Peace itself.
Now imagine that you are always that – you never have a moment when you aren’t brimming with Peace.
That, my friend, is the way of God – God is Everlasting Peace. ‘Please use whatever word/name for Creation that works for you.’
God never has a moment of distress – God is only Peace – Everlasting Peace.
I believe it’s what the Apostle Paul was referring to when he wrote – The Peace That Passes All Understanding.
How sweet it is.
Remembering Who We Are
As I’ve mentioned, we too have within ourselves the capacity of embodying each of the Twelve Faces of God.
Since we are Creations of our Creator, we too have our Creator’s attributes within us.
Therefore, if the Creation of All That Is - is Peace - then we too are Peace.
I understand that we are humans living in a world of contrast, which makes being peaceful not always an easy way of being. However, I believe that if we choose to be more peaceful, then more peaceful we will be.
To quote John Lennon, “All we are saying is give peace a chance.”
To continue playing with peace…
Inner Joy Compass
Think of your favorite peaceful place you like to hang out. It can be a place you visit or a place you go to in your mind.
Sit for a moment and breathe in the feeling of being in your peaceful place.
Okay, time to bring forth your vivid and powerful imagination and use all your senses - sound, taste, touch, sight, smell, and spiritual sense.
To enhance:
Think of your favorite sound and place it in your picture. It can be anything from a child’s laughter, to a wind chime, bells, or a choir, there is no limit.
Now add your favorite scent. Breathe it in.
Envision your peaceful haven with beautiful colors.
What does your place feel like? Would you like to add more texture? Maybe bring in a silk cloth or fur blanket, or snuggle with your pet.
What food makes your mouth water just thinking about it? Try seeing yourself eating it and notice if you feel more peaceful.
How about adding in the celestial - Angels, Ascended Masters, or whatever spiritual beings bring forth peace in your heart?
It’s your place of peace. You can create it any way you like.
Once you feel your picture is complete, sit in it and savor it.
When picturing feeling peaceful, I ____________________.

May the peace that you inherently are - rise within you.
Thanks for being here with me.
I appreciate you!
With all my love,
Gloria
P.S. I’m working on my business and ideas are percolating. More later…
Peace in my life right now looks like this. My fiance and I are in bed keeping eachother warm after a long day of work. I'm reading and choosing to make the color changing humidifier in the distance brighter through my peripheral vision. I can smell lavender oil and I can hear a flute instrumental song playing in the background.
Peace for me is nature at a calm state.
