Ever been there - in a place where love feels distant, where old hurts whisper louder than truth? I sure have.
Yet, I know in the core part of me that the truth is:
Love is not gone.
It’s waiting.
Right behind the veil of pain.
I know this because I know that Love is the breath of life.
The saving grace we are all searching for.
And… I understand that to take in love - is to take in God, and that love is to the heart what information is to the brain—necessary.
But…
What Happens When We Forget?
What happens when pain blocks our ability to feel love?
Friend, when pain blocks our ability to feel love, we forget who we are.
When we forget who we are, we lose touch with the divine essence within us. Sadly, that can feel like the soul goes quiet.
Our once radiant, open heart may begin to armor itself. Not out of defiance, but for protection. It’s not that love disappears… it just becomes harder to hear.
The pain may have made you forget, but your soul has never stopped remembering.
The soul knows that - we don’t stop being love.
We just stop feeling like it.
This is the journey I am on—learning, again and again, to soften into love, to trust it, to be it.
And if you are walking this path, too, know that you are not alone.

The “Open Door that No Man Can Shut” is love.💗
Remember my post, Aware Not Beware?
In that post, I wrote about the importance of being aware and not being afraid (beware) to open the door that no man can shut. However, I realized that I didn’t define what the open door that no man can shut means.
Wondering why I’m bringing it up here? Simply… because…
When you open the door that no man can shut you open yourself to LOVE.
Not just any love — but the eternal, unshakable, divine love that has been yours from the beginning.
It’s the door of your own heart, opened by God, by grace, by the part of you that remembers your worth — even when you forget.
When you choose to open yourself to love — to really open — you are stepping through that very door.
You’re entering into a space where no wound, no betrayal, no fear has the authority to close what the Divine has opened.
That means:
No heartbreak can make you unlovable.
No mistake can make you undeserving.
No past can cancel your future in love.
Even when you forget, the door remains open — because it was never held open by you alone.
It was opened by something eternal.
And nothing — no man, no fear, no shame — can shut it.
So What Does It Mean to Open Yourself to Love?
It means trusting that this door is already open.
You don’t have to force your way in.
You just have to walk through — softly, slowly, honestly.
It means returning to the part of you that is:
Willing to feel again.
Willing to hope again.
Willing to risk loving and being loved — even after pain.
And maybe most sacred of all:
It means saying yes to the God within you who is constantly whispering,
“Beloved, the door is open. Come home to love.”

Inner Joy Compass Prompt:
I thought it appropriate and worthy to reshare the relationship questions from the Aware NOT Beware post.
Relationships:
When you think about the people closest to you are you bracing or opening?
Do you approach love with trust and presence—or with fear of loss, rejection, or betrayal?
Are you trying to protect yourself from being hurt, or are you allowing yourself to be seen?
Do you speak and listen from awareness—or from old stories that ask you to beware?
"Love is a door that is always open, waiting for you to walk through." From the Disney movie Frozen, written by Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez.
May you walk through the door that no man can shut and be the love that you are.
Thanks for being here with me.
I appreciate YOU.
With all my love,
Gloria
