Deep in meditation, a vision pops into my mind.
My Vision
I see within my mind’s eye about 4 or 5 white stone steps. At the top of the steps is a wide white door. Even the knob was white.
I feel an inner sense of calm, yet at the same time, I’m like an expectant child who knows something is about to happen.
I understand to not let my eagerness take over I need to remain calm.
So, I focus on my breathing - deep breath in, deep breath out.
Then it comes…
An energy expansion. It’s like the Universe cracked open inside of me. Not in a loud or dramatic way, but in a quiet, soul-stirring kind of way.
It’s as if I have more room inside me. More room for light, more room for love.
Next…
I hear a single voice, and still, I have an awareness that there is more than one Light Being present.
I hear…
To move up the steps to open the door that no man can shut - you are to understand the difference between beware and aware.
Most humans are unaware that they live in a state of beware. Beware is filled with doubt, worry, and fear.
You are to look at every area of your life and ask, “AM I bewaring or awaring?” (Please note: I’m aware that awaring and bewareness are not grammatically correct, however, I’m using the language that was presented to me. In my experience the Celestial doesn’t care about what’s proper, only that the message is crystal clear.)
You are to begin with your health. Are you in a state of awareness or bewareness of your health?
The Vision Continues
I then began seeing aspects of my life flash before me in picture frames. My husband, my home, my friends, my kitty-cats, my body. I simultaneously felt like an observer and participant as the life-frames continued with the world, politicians, nature, hospitals, and places of worship.
Finally, the pictures stop. I find myself exhaling. Loudly.
Then… The Voice Continues
To step onto each step and open the door that no man can shut, you must begin with living in a state of awareness not bewareness.
My Understanding
Remember that energy expansion I mentioned, well, it happened again.
Again it was a gentle shift. No fireworks, no lightning bolts.
It was more like a curtain pulling back ever so slightly to reveal a wider horizon that was always there, just waiting for me to see it. And boy did I see!
Friend, I had a sacred understanding! Every part of me felt it—head to heel, like a current of knowing.
I understood that -
To move up the steps and open the door that no man can shut one must know the difference between beware and being aware, and one must live that difference.
I know at first glance, they may seem similar— just a letter or two apart— but their frequencies are worlds apart.
First up - Beware
Most humans live in a constant state of beware.
It’s subtle, often hidden in the background noise of daily life.
A low hum of vigilance. A tightening in the chest. A mistrust of the moment.
Beware is the operating system of fear.
It is cautious, suspicious, and rooted in survival.
It scans for what might go wrong.
It braces. It doubts. It prepares for loss, even in the face of joy.
And without even knowing it, many folks have built their lives around bewareness.
They may call it being careful, being realistic, or being responsible.
But beneath those labels is a life where the heart doesn’t get to fully open.
Sadly, a life that doesn’t get to experience unconditional love.
Thankfully… There is awareness.
A spiritual breath. A turning toward truth. A real love.
It is not naive. It sees clearly but with love instead of fear.
It is rooted in presence. It trusts the now.
Awareness doesn’t brace — it listens.
It doesn’t assume danger — it receives information and responds from alignment,
not anxiety.
Dearest, to step closer to the door that no man can shut - is to choose awareness again and again— to live from unconditional love, not love bound with conditions.
It’s a choice of choosing light or shadow.
This is the path upward. This is the way the inner door begins to open.
So…ready to widen your door?
Inner Joy Compass
Take a breath or two and hold the understanding that the questions below are for your awareness - for your JOY!
Ask yourself, in every area of life — “Am I bewaring or awaring?”
Let’s begin with Health:
When you think of your body do you feel dread?
Are you scanning for what's wrong? Are you waiting for something to go bad?Or are you meeting your body with love, gratitude, presence, and listening? Are you in a relationship with your vitality — or at war with imagined outcomes?
Relationships:
When you think about the people closest to you are you bracing or opening?
Do you approach love with trust and presence—or with fear of loss, rejection, or betrayal?
Are you trying to protect yourself from being hurt, or are you allowing yourself to be seen?
Do you speak and listen from awareness—or from old stories that ask you to beware?
Creativity/Service/Purpose
When you create or serve, do you feel pressure to get it “right”—or permission to explore and express?
Do you hesitate to share your gifts out of bewareness (what will they think? What if I fail? Or do you create from awareness (this is love moving through me)?
Are you waiting for approval—or trusting that what you carry is already valid and valuable?
Your Environment
Do you feel safe, supported, and at ease where you live—or are you constantly scanning for what’s wrong?
Is your home a sanctuary or a source of low-level tension?
Do you feel a sense of belonging there—or are you living in a state of emotional withdrawal?
ARE YOU EAGER TO BE MORE AWARE AND LESS BEWARE? ARE YOU READY TO OPEN TO UNCONDITIONAL LOVE?
